Shortly after Onyx reached the peak of its success, it developed massive internal problems, that unfortunately could not be fixed or solved.

Part of the original Synergy team wanted to shed the "Synergy Label" that had become synonymous with the best 16+ events in Minnesota and for all intents and purposes start over with Onyx - While the other part wanted to stay true to the "Synergy Brand" and not run away or hide from all the various events we had held over the previous two years by completely starting over. 

As a result of this conflict Onyx Nightclub split into two separate and independently run clubs.

Club Ozone, which was given the first half of the summer to hold events at the VIP Olmeca Events Center in Burnsville & Omega Nightclub which had its Grand Opening at the VIP Olmeca Events Center in August with Synergy's First Ever Foam Party, and will be the 16+ at Olmeca going forward!

Also as a result of the split, Omega Nightclub is now the continuation of Synergy Dance Club, still dedicated to bringing you the best of 16+ nightlife.
